Necklace Size Guide

At Hailey's, we always state the length of a necklace in centimeters, the total length of the chain. When measuring a necklace, do not include the inner part of the clasp that is hidden inside the clasp box when the necklace is closed. For women, there are generally three common categories.

Short (36–38 cm): Necklace that sits close to the neck, often called a "choker." Falls just above or at the collarbone. The model is wearing the 38 cm length in the picture.

Standard (40–43 cm): The most classic necklace length. Sits just below the collarbone and suits most necklines. The model is wearing 42 cm in the picture.

Medium (43–46 cm): Hangs a bit lower on the chest. Gives a slightly longer impression and works well for both everyday and festive occasions. The model is wearing 45 cm in the picture.

Long (50–55 cm): The necklace hangs lower on the chest, often to the middle. It gives a more pronounced style and is often used for pendants. The model is wearing 52 cm in the picture.
